Cabal Online

What about Cabal Online ?

I started it recently with Jim , Mendell , Scorne and Calibre12.
The game mechanics are totally different compared to RO , but so far i enjoy it alot and gonna probably continue playing cabal for the moment.

We are atm on the Cabal US server (there are different like Euro server , brazilian ...)
each server has it's own Client and the most problematic is that The US server is supposed to be played only for US/Canadian ppl , otherwise you ain't be allowed to connect ,
Hopefully we found some ways to connect :

-using HTTP tunnel (it's a proxy server) the free version of this proxy allow you to connect to the server but with a very low connection , we tried to find some other FREE option but all failed , so guys just paid for a month subscription to the HTTP tunnel ( 5 dollars a month ).

I have a problem with 3D MMORPGs, still I'm downloading it to test

Okay, my internet went down by the end of the download and I'm not in the best mood to retry it. It also might not fit in my pc cause I don't have a 3d acelerator and william also said his pc doesn't support this game, I don't know, I'm probably going to farm this weekend and I think about it later.

Edit: So I downloaded the game, I just got to get it to work.. I downloaded the US version through filefront which seemed to work best. Is this game a lot of fun?

I used to play guildwars, it was pretty fun, they changed a lot though. I haven't played it since the changes.

What server are you on? Mercery or Venus?

I made a char named Cinni... what are your names/?

cool , we are playing the Venus Server .

My char in game is : ChiliConCarne --> do not laught , but I tried 100 names and all were taken already , so just used the first thing that came in mind

Scorne is Scorne
Mendell is Mendell
Jim is MyBallsYourChin
Calibre12 is Caly

we usually play on channel 14 , but it depends if we have lags or not
the best way to find us out is to connect to Ventrillo server , cause we automatically log on Vent if we are ingame . I will post later the Vent server info . I am at work at the moment .

I mean why not right Sina? It would give Mafia members more vierity of games to pick if they decided to quit one ONTOP of that it'll be me and Mystic's responablity so you don't have to worry much Sina... we could EVEN Share Ventro servers...


hahahahah I used to play Cabal... but my body is craving some GuildWar... hahaha too bad I won't get to play with Cinna... hahaha maybe we could see each other on ventro BUT then again by the time things get set up she would probably have a hubby on Cabal...

hehe why not , we are now a gaming community , as long as you respect the Mafia Rules make a GW Mafia

no problem for Vent server so far , it can support alot of ppl , even if actually the owner is Spunky , he wont have any trouble with that , just tell him that you are a mafia member
( we can also host a Vent server if needed )

When ever you want just tell me , and I will add a Guild War section on the forum if you can find at least 5 active Mafia members

Sina knows the methods for proxy or whatever, I don't know if you can connect directly to US Server?

Whenever I log on though, the only person I see playing is Sina ready to go to work. I think I come on at the wrong times.

I still like Ro better somewhat, but I'm giving this a chance.

Yeah , I usually log for an hour or so during my work break (14:00 GMT+1) , and after only later at night like from 21:00 GMT+1 , it should be for cinnia like 6 hours difference so 15:00 i think . Mendell and scorn also plays at night and Jim should be back this weekend too . If you find my char connected , and I don't talk to you , i am probably afk vending .

Cabal is really different from Ro , so far the main difference is that at first lvls thers no much Team play , cause every one has to do his quest and stuff like that , dungeon raids in team starts at least at lvl 60 + .
But since we are all connected on Vent it dosen't really matter for us .

We are on the Venus server, on the channel 14 most of the time. If you are on the Venus server, add buddy Scorne. I will give u money for starting good the game ^^.
